Add a branch and limit a manager to it

Add the locations of your center as branches, put groups and rooms in them, then limit a reception or accountant account to one branch.

A branch is a location of your center. It is a label on groups and rooms, while the subscription, the people and the payments stay shared. Only the “Founder” manages branches.

Before you start

  • Sign in as “Founder”.
  • Decide the names of your locations and which reception or accountant account manages which one.

Steps

  1. Open “Administration”, then “Branches”.
  2. In the form “Add a branch”, type the “Name”, and an “Address” if you like. Press “Add branch”.
  3. If the block “Groups and rooms without a branch” appears, press the button with the branch's name. Every group and room goes into that branch.
  4. Add the second branch the same way. With two branches, a branch switcher appears in the top bar.
  5. Open “Administration”, then “Users”, and press “Edit” next to the manager.
  6. In the card “Branch access”, choose “Only these branches” and tick the branch. A line shows what the person will see. Press “Save access”.

Result

The manager sees only the people, groups, money and enquiries of the ticked branch, from their next page. The users list shows the label “Limited to: {names}” on their row. Expenses and payments that belong to no branch stay with the founder.

If something looks different

  • The card “Branch access” appears only when the center has two or more branches, and only for reception and accountant accounts.
  • A founder is never limited. Someone who also teaches cannot be limited either: give them a separate teacher account.
  • A branch can be archived only when no running group is left in it.
