The base salary is the figure the payment form fills in for you. The payment itself is recorded in Finance. The accountant can do this too, except set their own base salary.
Before you start
- Sign in as “Founder” or “Accountant”.
- Decide who is paid and the monthly amount.
Steps
- Open “Salary”. In the table “Payroll”, type the monthly amount in the “Base salary” field on the person's row and press “Set”.
- On the same row, press the link that begins with Pay and shows the amount still owed this month, for example Pay 700.00 ₼. Finance opens with “Expenses”, the category “Salary”, the staff member and the amount already filled in. You can change the amount.
- Press “Record transaction”. The payment is saved.
- Go back to “Salary”. On the person's row, press the print icon (“Print / download payslip”) to open the payslip. Press “Print / PDF” to print it or save it as a file.
Result
The payment is in the Finance list. The column “This month” on the “Salary” page shows it, and the payslip is ready to print.
If something looks different
- The Pay link shows only while something is still owed this month. For a different person, a bonus or an amount of your own, press “Record payment in Finance” above the table instead: Finance opens on “Expenses” with the category “Salary”, and you choose the person and type the amount.
- The print icon appears on a row only after a payment this month. Until then you see a dash.
- For a bonus, choose the category “Bonus”. The amount stays empty until you type it.
