Your desk at a glance: what to look at first each day

The reception home screen: payments due, quick actions, lessons with no roll call, new enquiries and recent registrations, and what each block asks of you.

The reception home screen shows what needs a person today. Open it at the start of the day and work from the top down.

Before you start

  • Sign in as “Reception”.
  • Fees must be set on the groups. A group with no monthly fee never shows a late payment.

Steps

  1. Open “Dashboard”. The page is called “Reception Desk”.
  2. At the top are the two buttons that cover most of the day: “Record payment” and “Quick Registration”.
  3. Read “Payments due”. It lists students who are late and those who pay today, longest overdue first. The “Record payment” button on a row opens the payment form already filled in.
  4. Read “Roll call not taken”. These are lessons that started and have no attendance marks. Reception can look but cannot mark attendance: open the row to see the group, then remind the teacher.
  5. Read “New enquiries”: people waiting for a first call. Open one to follow it up. Beside it, “Recent enrollments” lists students enrolled in the last seven days.
  6. Scroll down. “Payment collection” counts the payments you have taken today. Under it is the “Quick Registration” form.

Result

You know who to collect from, which roll calls are missing and which enquiries need a call. Nothing on this screen changes until you press a button.

If something looks different

  • “Payments due” shows six rows. When there are more, the link under the list opens “Subscriptions”.
  • A student who has left the group, or a group that is no longer running, is not on the list.
