Register a new student and their parent

One form registers a student, links or creates a parent, and enrols the student in a group. It takes about a minute.

Before you start

• Sign in as “Reception”.
• Have the student's name and email address ready. For a new parent account you also need the parent's name, email and phone.
• The form is on the home screen. The “Students” page has no registration form.

Steps

1. Open “Dashboard” and press “Quick Registration”. The page scrolls to the form.
2. Type the name in “Student's full name” and the address in “Email”. The “Username” is suggested from the name when it is written in Latin letters. Change it only if you want to.
3. Choose a “Group” to enrol the student at once, or leave it for later. If the group has a fee, “Monthly fee for this student” fills in. Change it for this student, or add a “Discount”.
4. For a parent, pick an existing one in “Link to an existing parent”. Or tick “Also create a parent account” and type the parent's name, email and phone. All three are required.
5. Press “Register”.
6. Hand over the sign-in details. Each new account gets a one-time link, and the card shows until when it works. Press “Copy link” or “Send on WhatsApp” and give the link to that person.

Result

The student and the parent have accounts and can sign in with their links. If you chose a group, the student is already in it. When the group has a fee, the student appears under “Payments due” on the day they join.

If something looks different

• When the center sends email, the family also gets an invitation. The card says whether it did. When email is off, only the link you hand over works.
• Email is required for a login account. For a child who will not sign in, tick “Child profile”: only a name is needed.
• If the form says the email is already in use, that person already has an account. Find them with the search at the top of the screen instead.
