A student who owes money shows up on your home screen on the day they come to class. You can ask for the payment while the family is in the building, and check every debt in one list.
Before you start
- Sign in as “Reception”.
- A student appears on the red card after the teacher marks them present or late at today's lesson. Without a mark, the card is not shown.
Steps
- Open “Dashboard” and find the red card “Debtors arriving today”. A row shows the student, their groups, how much is owed and how many days late.
- To take the money, press “Record payment” on the row. The payment form opens filled in. To write to the parent first, press the message icon.
- For all debts, open “Finance” and press “Subscriptions”.
- The card “Outstanding” shows the total owed and how many subscriptions are late.
- Late subscriptions come first. Each row shows the days late and what the student owes.
- Type a student, a parent, a phone number or a group in the search and press Enter. Or choose a group in the filter.
- On a row, press “Record payment” or the message icon to reach the parent.
Result
You know who owes, how much and for how long, and you can collect or write to the family straight from the row.
If something looks different
- The amount counts every started month of lateness as one month's fee, less any money already waiting in the balance.
- A group with no fee never counts as late.
- People who left a group or whose group is archived are listed at the bottom, under “Left the group, or group archived”. Writing a debt off is for the founder and the accountant.
